SS CLAN INFO v.1.6.0 written by [SS]Nick[L]
Last updated on: october 1, 2005
====================== ++++About the Clan++++ ======================
###HISTORY### Soon after the separation
RK clan when its leader resigned, most of its members were without a clan, including the leader of the current SS Clan. When
blueneck established the SS Clan, he was suprised that many people had wanted to join the clan. After evaluating the rules
and regulations of other servers, blueneck decided to ease it up a bit for their members. Known for its unique rules, procedures,
and damage settings, the SS server is now one of the most popular servers, with frequent visits from members of {WAR}, [zonymous],
and [UK].
###THE SERVER### It's a server. DUE TO A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS MOD, THE SERVER
HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A REGULAR DAMAGE MOD WITH sk_player_head IS SET AT 3. Certain guns including rocket launchers,
grenade launchers, miniguns, and ronins have been removed from the server. No cheats. No health powerup.
###THE
MEMBERS### SS knows that the members have their own lives outside of Nightfire. Therefore, unlike many clans, the members
DO NOT have to train every once in a while. Just participating in the SS server is all that is needed to convince the leader
that a promotion is not far for him/her. It is not required to keep the SS tag in the username, but is perferrable for non-leaders
and non-coleaders. Inactivity will not lead to exile from the clan, but frequent absences will result in demotion. Members
are allowed to clan hop at any time. When (co)leaders are not present, SS members may hold wars within the server, but (co)leaders
reserve the right to end any war in progress. When a war is scheduled, an email will be sent to all SS members. However, the
recipient may choose to not participate in such activity simply by deleting the email. Otherwise, he/she must reply to the
email with the subject "ACCEPTED".

Rules
=========================== ++++Rules for SS Server++++ ===========================
Yes ====== These are what you can do unless asked not to.
-join SS -play in any SS server -clan hop -punch -snipe -swear(in small doses) -leave the SS tag on/off
whenever -use any weapon availiable -use binds as often as wanted -recruit people on SS server
NO ====== You
may NOT do any of the following (non-members only)
-share rcon password -spawnkill -cheat(those cheating will ban you permanently) -intentionally chat/afk attack(you
must have been facing a wall to call a chat/afk attack) -puppyguard -Armorrun in a fight -switchkill(switching teams
to kill a teammate) -healthcamp -threaten the server(ie. talk of crashing)
NOTE: The SS Server has a freedom
of speech policy. However, don't be suprised when you are kicked for disturbing the peace. Spawnkills are allowed when
the spawner begins to open fire.
The following diciplinary actions may be used, but not in descending order:
--Warning (first time infractions) --Pre-kicking actions (ignoring SS members) --Kicking from server (converting
to noobism) --Suspension from server (continuous chat-afk attacking) --Bannishment from server (cheating)
NOTE:
Suspensions last between 10 minutes and 10000 minutes (approx. 7 days).
*Chat/afk attacking is where you attack someone
who is facing a wall and is not moving. However, this rule does not apply to those who: a.) are not facing a wall; or b.)
begin chatting in the middle of a fight. Accidents do happen, and a nearby gunfight may injure you. I will soon probably be
designating an area in the map for extensive chatting only.
Some more info on the SS
========================== ++++Clan War/Scrimmage++++ ==========================
You may schedule a clan war
with SS at anytime. However, SS does have certain procedures to follow regarding clan wars: -SS Server only unless otherwise
indicated(it is a dedicated server) -Powerups are disabled -server rules apply -YOU MUST REGISTER A WAR AT
LEAST 4 DAYS IN ADVANCE. -Uneven teams will be evened out with bots. However, allies CAN play on your team
in this event.
=================== ++++SS Training++++ ===================
The SS clan offers free training to any Nightfire
user by a (co)leader. The catch? The only catch is that a trainer may be inavaliable at the moment. If this scenario occurs,
please do not leave messages for the host, as this bugs him. Coleaders: you do not need the leader's permission to train.
===================================== ++++Joining the SS Clan & Tryouts++++ =====================================
You
can tryout anytime the server "SS Tryouts" is up. Tryouts are held on a first come first serve basis. There, a leader and/or
coleader can give you a series of random tests. If you pass it within the alotted time, a leader will then decide your rank.
You may also contact the leader/coleader (see SS Memberlist above) to schedule a tryout. Scheduled tryouts have a higher priority
over same-day requests.
============================ ++++Quitting the SS Clan++++ ============================
If you decide that
you are sad with being in the SS Clan or discover the secret of the origin of the clan and don't like it, you can quit simply
by removing "SS" from your username. Please notify the leader before quitting.
=================== ++++Abuse Sheet++++ ===================
Copy the form between the asterisks. Change
anything in [] to the appropriate word. If you can, provide a screenshot or video of the abuse and attach it to the email.
If you do not receive a reply within 10 days, no action was taken against the abuser. If you are reporting abuse of the leader,
don't even bother; he has good reason to do it.
